Hey ya’ll!
Spring is in full production here in Charleston, SC and that means, the flowers are showing off, the bees are hard at work, the windows in the house are all open, our cars are thick with pollen, and I’m struggling in the morning from the time change! haha
One of my all time favorite places to shoot at any time of the year, but particularly in Spring, is Hampton Park tucked away in Downtown Charleston. It’s the biggest park on the peninsula coming in at 60 acres and it’s jam packed full of beautiful spots and nooks for sessions. Here you’ll find loads of flowers in the dozens of kept garden beds and trails, but you’ll also find the charming sprawling old oak trees and draping Spanish moss that is so iconic in a Charleston landscape. Hampton is always one of my top options for a multitude of session types, but it’s most chosen for family, maternity, couples and senior sessions. With it’s close proximity to the historic district, it’s also a good spot to add variety if you choose to include multiple locations to your experience.
Here are some shots I took during a recent scouting visit to give you a little glimpse of Spring in the park.
Here are some shots from past sessions at Hampton Park that I just love.
