Since my original website launch, I’ve changed a ton as a person and photographer. This has brought this Charleston business right along with it. Lots of researching, trial and error, and determination has gone in to molding PS 2023. I thought it was about to time rebrand and really embrace those changes! It’s no easy task running your own business, but it’s been totally worth the wild ride! Without further ado, let me reintroduce myself…

My name is Michelle, and I am the brains and heart behind the camera of Palmetto Snapshots. I am a Charleston based lifestyle couple, family, and boudoir photographer. You can find me covering everything from proposals, engagements, maternities, newborns, portraits, branding/headshots, and much in between. While I describe my style as warm and eclectic, I love to dabble in moodier edits (particularly for spooky sessions). This makes my editing more unique that it isn’t “light and airy” or “dark and moody”, but something all its own. Naturally, it mimics my personal style and personality. As my blog presence grows, you can begin to expect more than just posts of my favorite sessions. I’ll be providing a local’s incite to Charleston, and how to navigate the city with best of’s, must see’s, etc. Tips and guides for preparing for your photo sessions will be included as well. I’m excited to get back to my roots of carrying my camera everywhere I go, and sharing my unique perspective. With you, I’ll share what it’s like to call the Lowcountry home through landscape, street, and food photography.
